High penalty fees for unavailable funds!

My account is being debited each day for an outstanding payment. R 480 fees for a payment that did not go off as result of outstanding funds. How can this be so much? This is the second time this is happening to me, although this was corrected, no one contacted me to confirm that they paid my fee back. I'm definitely moving to a bank with lower fees....
