High bank account fees with FNB

I have a private clients account with FNB, where I am currently charged R385 rand per month as the account fee (A big % of my net income!). I recently requested that I would like my account to be downgraded to an Easy Account for a more affordable R59 per month. However, after several inquiries with FNB's and even via the 'private banker/call centre', this has not yet been done. I am afraid I will be billed another R385 this month. I am really disappointed with FNB and I want a refund for the past month!
