Here we go again...
Dear Peter, unsurprisingly and expectedly, unlike Fnb 's attempts to correct their mistake by means of "kindly accept our sincerest apologies ", my complaint was not resolved. On the 18 th February 2021, the bank called twice, which I was unable to take because of work commitments. Kabetso Mo***eng sent an email, requesting me to notify them of a suitable time to call me. I responded just before midnight that I'd be available between 13:30 and 14:00 the following day. Needless to say, the time I cleared especially for this matter to be resolved, was a waste of valuable time I could have spent continuing with my work schedule. I find this rather disingenuous and unprofessional conduct of Fnb shameful. As a "private client " I would've tolerated this level of service from a more informal type of business, the level of poor business practice is overwhelming. Based on past behaviour, I can assure you Fnb will soon be inundating my inbox with "we're really sorry, this and that caused a delay etc." In my line of work, clients aren't interested in what you say you're going to do, they want to know what you did, which is an extension and reflection of your character, credibility and integrity. I'm embarrassed to admit I've been a private client of Fnb...well, even against my own wishes considering the current state of affairs.
