Hello Peter *** - Loss Event: RMO16032, Claimed ***/03
After waiting a long time without any update or feedback, I decided to write to Hello Peter regarding poor service from FNB Insurance and I thought this would push some buttons and get me the urgent help I now desperately need. This complaint was written on 10 January at around 16:58. I was given this reference Hello Peter ***.
I finally got some attention from FNB as one of their consultants reached me and apologized for their poor service, promising a speedy resolution and feedback on my issue.
I thought my perception of FNB would change soon after but it just worsened. We are now in February 2025 and I still do not have any feedback or conclusion on my issue: Loss Event: RMO16032, Claimed ***/03 which took place in October 2024. We are now looking at 5 months of dealing with this terrible service whilst they keep debiting me as per usual, without any disputes on my end.
I was given all sorts of promises, including speedy acting from their external service provider, Crash Investigation Group, but nothing has been done about my issue and worse, it doesn't seem like this will end anytime soon.
On Friday, 31 January 2025, at around 09:02, I received an SMS from FNB which reads:
"FNB :-) We have appointed a service provider on your claim. Queries? Call ***. Insurer FNB STI."
This does not give me any details on my Loss Event: RMO16032, Claimed ***/03 and only makes me more anxious.
Whilst I enjoy banking with you, I regret ever joining FNB Insurance and this entire situation further supports my previous statement as can be found on Hello Peter ***.
What is it that one has to do to be treated as a customer, and to be provided with feedback and or updates? I answered every call and rep**** to any email on the matter, I have done my part, why can't I be afforded the same courtesy? What would it take for you to prioritize my issue, which spans from October 2024?
FNB is so quick to unleash it's sales team on you, convincing you of reputable service and I naively moved everything of mine into their portfolio thinking I would have my personal private banker and have relative ease when managing my account, life cover, funeral covers, will, investments, car insurance, etc. I should have known I would be the exception. I am going to cancel and move everything I have to Discovery Bank which seems to offer better deals and certainly better customer service to their clients.
I wouldn't recommend anyone to join any of your services and business for they will only come to regret their decision later.
FNB Insurance is the worst thing I have seen on any professional level!!!
I hate you and your pathetic service! You only want to take money from customers!!!!
