Heartbroken ex-employee 💔
@fnbsa This past Saturday, on the 25th of June. I had the worst experience from an FNB branch and to top it all off, I'm an ex-employee of FNB. I worked in branch for almost 4 years and I know the drills and in and outs of branches and how they're suppose to operate. My journey started off when I needed to fill in a form to confirm that I have an account with FNB and that it's in good standing, that it's active. I visited a branch in Eldorado Park, extention 5.. One of my worst and saddest experience ever and here I sit thinking I would never go through this. The service from that branch sucks, there was no consultants assisting the customers outside the branch or inside. So many people needed help outside but the security guard just walked past people and telling them they can't assist. Look, I know they're not suppose to touch the atm's but at least guide them so they would know next time. It's like at that particular branch, they pick and choose who they want to assist. I was waiting in line to get inside for more than an hour, I had to assist a customer with printing a statement because no one could or wanted to assist him. The queue outside wasn't managed properly and no tickets were printed for any customer although Q-man was working. The security guard went missing without communicating to the customers outside for almost an hour.. The customers inside the branch struggled at online and the more they ask for help the more the consultants keep themselves busy.. I had to step up again and assist another customer on online banking because they couldn't get help elsewhere. Then out of no where the team leader comes and closes the door and says no one can enter as they are about to close. So what happened to the customers outside, that's been waiting to come in? The other customer needed help with a reset on online banking, instead of helping the customer since you're not doing anything else, she tells the customer he has to wait for one of the consultants to finish to assist him. Now that entire customer experience I went through was just really sad because how can you ever treat your customers like that when they are the ones who pays monthly account fees and without customers, there's no business and without a business, there's simply no jobs. When I worked at my two different branches, I've never seen anything like this. I've never told a customer that or mistreated them the way they do at this branch. It saddens me because I've worked for FNB, I know their values etc.. But when I saw all that, it literally broke me down. How many more other customers are suffering from the same treatment and don't have the proper tools to communicate their suffering. Two or three staff members didn't even wear their name badges. How does this work? How did all this happen?
