Have I been *****ed by FNB security?!
I have lost total confidence in banking with FNB. 27/11/2015 a date I will now never forget. I was **********ly ****** and I was not even aware. Around 6am I took a walk to the ATM as I normally do each pay day with the comfort that the security guards are always there to ensure safety. I entered my card into the ATM and entered my pin. The ATM then kicked my card right out and I was astonished. I asked the people around me if there is an issue with the ATM and a man approached me and advised me that he just had the same issue. He took my card and I watched him push it in the ATM , he then told me to add my mobile number. When I looked up he was gone. My card would not come out of the ATM and there was NOT A SECURITY GUARD IN SITE. I cancelled my card as soon as I realised this may be *****. As this man never saw my pin I was not convinced I was ****** until I went into the bank. The older number associated with my FNB account is no longer in use and I was unable to have it changed as my ID is damaged and my passport is expired. With most banks one would merely take your card and that would suffice. I was contacted this week that investigation just started. I am a victim of FNB
