Handed over for to collections without explanation!
I am highly frustrated by the fact that my account was blocked and handed over to collections without any explanation from them. After speaking to a consultant I was told that I am over my limit? Really?? How do you go over your credit card limit, when your transactions are declined as soon as you reach your limit??!! Please explain that to me because it goes beyond my understanding. I always pay my account in advance and I’ve had my account for years. Please note that I will be closing this account in the near future.

27 Mar 2019, 11:25Thank you for your response and call however your explanations does not make sense and I do not believe it. You explain that some merchants take up to 21 days to bank, which is what happened with my account. That I went over my limit because I thought that I had x amount however the merchant did their banking for last month or whenever only yesterday therefore leaving my account in a “minus”. What you’re saying does not make sense. When I swipe my card for whatever transaction, those funds must be reserved, for whenever the merchant does their banking. And this in turn must then always give me a true reflection of available credit.
