Gross Breach of Customer Information

While in the President West Street branch for my passport renewal, I was appalled by the fact that DHA officials were brazen enough to place someone on speaker, divulging personal details as far as their ID number. I reported this to the Branch Manager, Sam Pandaro and the Operations Manager Connie Rickett via email. No response has been received and though it is clear these are DHA employees, it is certainly clear that the breach happens within FNB premises to FNB customers. If the bank does not take the public disclosure of personal information seriously, how am I to believe that FNB is in any way serious about how they safeguard customers against such careless behavior. I would much rather spend less time in FNB than i would at DHA offices, however, if it means compromising my information, then leaving teh bank altogether to one that will better manage providers on site would be on the cards.

As for the two senior people who do not seem to care about customers information breach, I suppose this is simply a reflection of how leadership behaves or allows at the bank.
