Great grandmother trust management

<p>I am currently waiting to have my call accepted to set up an appointment with a representative of FNB trust services. Right now I've been on hold for 19 minutes. Let's see how much longer it will take to have my call answered.... and this is not even the real reason I am writing this complaint!</p> <p>My great grandmother set up a trust in the 80's for me and 4 of my cousins. This trust matured in October 2015. It took the highly inefficient and unhelpful lady whom manages the trust from the Pretoria branch 8 months to complete the winding up of our trust. Over these months the market dropped and she has effectively cost me and my family thousands of rands. In addition the final statements that we recieved only yesterday show that more than a 50% fee on interest and dividends has been deducted before payment was made. This is ******** and in addition we ahave not been able to recieve any clear, understandable communication relating to our outstanding tax or the breakdown of the payout we eventually recieved.</p> <p>FNB is a great bank, but I would recommend staying away from FNB trust services!</p> <p>Now on 25 minutes and still waiting for my call to be answered :(</p>
