Great experience with FNB after almost a decade!

I went to FNB Boardwalk Richards Bay branch on a Saturday morning to open a business account and was surprised to see the Manager, Thokozani Majola walking around, asking clients questions, guiding them to the correct lines, checking if they have the required documentation, etc. I had a long wait as being a Saturday only one consultant was opening business accounts, however, I did not mind the wait and understood the challenges. The consultant Sbongiseni Gumede is a great asset to FNB. He's got such a fantastic attitude and is quite knowledgeable. Competence is very rare in banks these days. I was absolutely impressed with his customer service skills and competence. I'm sure that other team members can learn a lot from him if given an opportunity. Of course, in typical FNB fashion there has to be something that goes wrong and it did with the courier company allocated to deliver my card. However, the matter was resolved eventually. The service experienced at the Boardwalk Richards Bay branch was the complete opposite of FNB's call centre experience, which makes me want to close my account. Keep up the great work, Sbongiseni and Thokozani, you guys make this world a better place.
