Great App, Poor service

First National Bank has becoming everything I hope they wouldn’t be. The way I have always been vouching for them I even moved my fiancé from Capitec to FNB. I really regret doing that because she is also experiencing the bad service that I am also experiencing.

Where do I even begin:

My card expired last year November. That is my current account which I use on a daily basis. They ordered me a new card but out of all the reputable courier companies they decided to go with CCD courier companies which is very bad. Courier company called me I told them that I will be travelling and I need them to deliver my card within the 5 working days and they said okay. I explained to them that if it is after the 5 working days they must deliver the card at FNB Sandton and I will collect it from there. We then agreed that they will deliver on the 7th of December. They sent an SMS but nothing. Waited the whole day, nothing. Even called CCD again and the agent told me that the card is already kut for delivering. I told her that I will be teavelling frkm the 9th so they need tk ensure that I get the card either on the same day or the following day. I asked the agent to speak to the driver and let her know if they can’t deliver until the following day they must deliver at FNB Sandton branch. Guess what, I received a text on the 10th saying that the driver is in his way to deliver my card. What a joke? Face palm. I thought they would take the card to FNB Sandton City but they didn’t. Till this day if I dont have a card.

I’m a Premier client but for the longest time they have been advertising that I qualify to upgrade to Private client. Because if the fees I didn’t see a need to upgrade. Early this year I decided that I need to move to private client maybe I will get a new card and a better service. App**** for it. Lady called me while I was in a meeting. I explained to her that I am in a meeting can she please call me in 30min. Till this day i never heard from her. Seeing all the hellopeter reviews I think it time I moved. In all honesty, FNB is good when you are still starting working but as you progress in your career you need a bank that will take you and your money seriously
