Good communication = happy customers
I lost a Swazi atm card in South Africa. When I went to a South African branch, I was told I had to go back to Swaziland to get it sorted out. I went to Swaziland and was told I had to be 18 for them to issue me a new card since it was opened by a parent even thought the account was in my name. On my 18th birthday I went back to get a new card and they had to change the account before I could be issued a new card but because I did not have proof of residence they gave me a pretty useless account. They said for me to be able to sign for myself, the parent that opened the account needed to consent. When my parent went there all the way from Durban, they were told I needed to do it myself. Firstly, please may FNB stop localising their services. It's inconvenient and costly. Secondly, to a large extent, FNB does not communicate well with customers, please may communications be made clearer and a sense of understanding for customers and customers' situations be instilled in FNB workers.
