Give the SMS back!

I am NOT receiving SMS notifications about transactions. I think, I somewhere saw a notice that FNB cancelled SMS notifications. WHY!!!!!????? But Isn't this for OTP only?

I am NOT getting notifications from the app on my phone - most of the time there is NO notification (I suspect Android stops working when less than 500mb empty space and then no notifications from apps - My phone only has 8MB space and EVERY business insist that you transact on the phone instead of on the web.)

ALSO: During load-shedding, I do not have an internet connection (Mostly I do not have data on my phone and even when I do have, CellC is off when we have load-shedding.) I.e. I am NOT informed of transactions or issues with transactions.

Please send notifications via SMS, it is RIDICULOUS to send it via the app only.

I received only an e-mail that if I have the app, I won't get an sms - This doesn't make sense. As indicated in my review - the app does NOT send the notifications, and when the electricity is off - the internet is off!!!
