Give me some credit?!

On the 27th of July 2017 I made the decision to switch to FNB from Standard Bank. I thought the benefits were greater than SBs and thus made the choice to go through all the admin of switching debit orders, etc. I went into the branch at the Pavilion Shopping Center, and successfully opened up a Premier Cheque account, bundled with a Premier Credit Card (which they've checked in the branch and said my application for both was approved). Now, one of my main reasons for joining Premier instead of the Prestige Account SB offers, was because of access to the SLOW longes at all major SA airports. On FNB's website, it stated that one only needs to open a Premier account with FNB to get access to these lounges, but upon researching and calling in, they tell me that one needs a credit card as well. Which does not need to be used, one just needs to have one and present both at one of the SLOW lounges (which I find a bit ridiculous, but oh well). Anyway, today I log into my FNB App and Online Banking to find that my credit card no longer appears on my account summary. I am surprised but thought to call in and query. I get through to the Premier bankers. After being pushed through to department after department, I am told that the credit card application was declined based on whatever reason (that wasn't clear to me). At this point I have lost all my patience because I went through all the effort of switching to FNB, having both accounts approved in-branch, only for them to tell me that my credit card application was declined!! Now, I cannot access all the benefits (the one I was particularly interested in was the SLOW lounge obviously) because of this miscommunication. I find this to be utterly and completely ridiculous. I had a limit set on my card and everything, so how on EARTH can it just get rejected?! Poor customer service, essentially lying, and then FNB just changing their minds when they want to. I cannot fathom...I demand to get this credit card back as it was initially approved. Better yet, cancel the necessity of having a credit card to enter the lounges in the first place as I don't see need for possessing one to access such a benefit!! FIX IT
