Get your staff educated to know the laws as it's going to land you'll in hot water with the regulatory boards
Guys you'll need to wake up now, seriously. You see Granville called me on Monday about my FNB accounts and I asked him why he was calling me as I have a case opened with the Banking Ombudsman and I explained to him that according to Section 106 1a of the National Credit Act, all credit agreements must have a credit life insurance policy included. That's stated on a legal document from the Banking Association of South Africa. So Granville asks advises me that it's probably an old document which means FNB needs to question the employees position in their institution. Granville advises me that a manager will be contacting me and shortly afterwards, even though I wasn't even presented with a letter of hand over, meaning FNB didn't comply with Section 129 of the Nation Credit Act, I get an sms to contact some HP Attorneys??? FNB, you guys need to wake up now!! How can you'll do this when there is a pending case at the Banking Ombudsman?? By the way, you'll can now contact HP Attorneys and tell them why they have been reported to the Legal Practice Council. Section 129 wasn't comp**** with and my information is thrown over to a third party which is against the POPIA Act. Now you guys are gonna get it from me from all sides.
