GET RID OF THE TRASH
What an awful experience! Once again, there was a long cue outside FNB Bryanston Shopping Centre on Ballyclare. Only one of the two ATM's was working - again - on the 2nd of the month, when most of us are still busy with many month end transactions. Upon enquiring if there was any alternative, Fezile Novukuza, who was standing at the door with Kgaugelo Majora motioned us with his head and a pointing finger to use the ATM inside the bank. We were to be grateful that he took a moment out of his unending chat with his friend Kgaugelo. Needless to say, the ATM inside the bank went Out of Service as soon as we got there. We went back to the door , risking to interrupt the two chatter boxes who's demeanor clearly indicated that any work related discussion would be most unwelcome. I asked them if they are aware of the frequency of the ATM's being down. Fezile Novukuza lowered his eyes and with as few words as possible, told me to go talk to the Manager myself. I asked for the Manager's name, both Fezile and Kgaugelo said they don't know it. For sure, technicalities will occur - that's life but its t he handling of such that matters. Why FNB would even have 2 useless people at the doorways, is beyond me!!Utterly shocked at the rude characters, unprofessional conduct and lack of service I am left to wonder if FNB still trains its staff. I am then forced to justify that I only dare to imagine requesting service because of my bank charges that actually go toward the salaries of these very staff members. It completely puzzles me that in this era of such low unemployment rates and eager graduates, why would such clearly undeserving individuals have the priviledge of having a job. The treatment demonstrated by Fezile and Kgaugelo was most disrespectful and unprofessional. Such low quality people. Is this representative of their employers?!
