Get it together FNB!

My credit card expired at the end of August and despite having made contact with my bank to arrange for my new card to be delivered, alas, it came with the incorrect surname printed on the card, nonetheless - it was returned with courier same day. I didn't hear back from anyone at all since. There is clear lack of communication between the bank and the courier service they make use of as well as clear lack of communication between the various consultants who work at FNB or whichever systems they make use of. All of these supposed technological advances and you can't even get something as simple as delivering someone's new card correctly? Long story short, its nearly the middle of October now and I am STILL waiting for my card - A FACILITY I AM EXPECTED TO PAY FOR DESPITE NOT USING IT!!

I was assisted by yet another consultant today and we had to re-apply for my new card because despite being reassured a new correct card would be sent to me by a previous consultant, it never arrived and the couriers know nothing either.

This is incredibly shocking as I do most of my banking with this bank and I am have strong doubts about whether to continue this relationship - there are banks who are far exceeding the customer relationship management and technological advances you are claiming.

I guess I would have to wait another month before I can get access to this account again so I can actually end this banking relationship. You guys should actually be ashamed of the way this has been handled from an administrative way - you're dealing with other people's money and livelihoods.

Get it together FNB!
