Funeral cover nightmare

I have been chasing FNB to pay for a funeral cover since July 2021. My aunt passed away before updating her beneficiary documents with FNB. They first asked me to do an affidavit to confirm that I’m her current beneficiary’s guardian, which I did. Thereafter they asked for a letter of authority, which took lawyer fees to me to obtain and the lawyer which the letter of authority was granted has been chasing them to pay. They said they need to confirm the legitimacy of the letter of authority, we waited.. 5 months later they are coming back and saying I need to get a letter of guardianship or the beneficiary must wait till she’s 18 to claim. For a FUNERAL PLAN?! The deceased was buried and that funeral still needs to be paid for. The child has needs that have to be attended to and they are unwilling to pay. They have been so insensitive about the matter.. now ultimately asking me to go through another costly High Court process to get a letter of guardianship for a FUNERAL CLAIM!!!!
