Frustration and disappointment

I attempted to downgrade my credit card and cheque account from Premier to Aspire, on 4 April 2022, one attempt to call me was made and I could not answer due to me driving. I responded to the email sent to me twice and still chatted to a banker through the Secure chat only to be told that my request for the cheque account downgrade had to be redone on 11 April 2022. The credit card down grade was also only processed that day, which is out of the 72 hours I was told it would take. I received a notification on 12 April 2022 that my credit card is in arrears and I need to pay to rectify the issue, I called FNB and was told that the person who down graded my account spilt my credit into 70% straight and 30% budget and because all my credit before was straight the account went into arrears. I called FNB on 13 April 2022 and I was told the issue was sorted. The new downgraded accounts come with new cards and I received an SMS on 20 April 2022 stating only my cheque account card was being delivered. I called FNB on 20 April 2022 and explained my situation to the banker and only after three transfers, 6 calls back to FNB to different department and one very helpful banker later did I manage to sort out the issue that one of the FNB staff members caused. The issue was the 70-30 straight-budget split on the new downgraded credit card had not been fixed and my card was suspended, a card that was never sent to me. No means of communication were made to me about this issue and if I had not contacted FNB I would have still been waiting for a credit card. During the 9 days of this process of downgrading my credit card, I had no access to the credit that I had and with the flooding in my area, PMB-KZN, I needed the money to assist family members affected.
