Frustrating non-service

I have a Paypal account and recently had to find a way to link my bank account so I can have the funds transferred to my SA bank account. I found the only way was to create an online profile with FNB. I tried this and immediately ran into problems. I banked with FNB over 10 years ago and despite having thought my accounts were closed, I was told I have a 'dormant' eBucks account. Despite efforts from a really great lady name Sulu at the FNB / Paypal contact center, I have had zero luck. I called the eBucks call center so I could get my eBucks account number. They couldn't help me because I don't have a card and thus no details could be verified. I have now been told to go into an FNB branch and then call them SAME TIME to have everything verified. Why the heck do I have to do all this when all I want is my so-called eBucks account number so I can create an online FNB profile which I can link to my non-FNB bank account to enable my Paypal account to be linked to said account? I'm FRUSTRATED. This just reminded me why I left FNB in the first place. I don't have time to go into bank branches. I just need my eBucks account number, ASAP.
