Frozen Accounts
I also have a frozen account, despite updating my information twice via on-line banking. When I contacted the bank via their "chat" service I was told I needed to email the relevant FICA documentation to compliancefnb.co.za. Which I did, imagine my surprise when the email was rejected with a "The response from the remote server was: 550 #5.1.0 Address rejected." What now? I also think this is *******, the bank should not be allowed to freeze my accounts - what if I was at ER and needed to pay the hospital so that my split chin could be stitched up or iron filings removed from eye. Needless to say, I am EXTREMELY UNHAPPY with FNB.

14 Nov 2024, 16:53At 16h33, the "chat" service said I would be routed to the FICA Desk. I then received a message that I was at "Source of Funds: who will be assisting me. "Source of Funds" asked me about stopping/cancelling debit orders! Good grief - what is happening at FNB?
