**********ly debited, yet greatly inconvenienced .

I was a victim of one of the TALARABIAN debit orders for R119.00. I walked into a branch and the debit order was reversed. I was told that to avoid the cost associated with stopping a debit order in the branch I would have to contact the fnb ***** department and have them cancel it on my behalf. I phoned them and they told me if I cancel it using online or cellphone banking I should not be charged. So that is exactly what I did. And guess what... I was charged R70.00. This means I am only left with like R50 cash refunded for a debit order that I did not even sign up for. Just phoned the ***** department and they say I have to go back to a branch to have the charge reversed.
