********** investment
The year 2014 I received my pension from my employer then I went to burgerfort FNB branch as their client, I made inquiries how to save my money then I was referred to the financial advisor by Mrs MD Mkhonza. During the advisory session she told me that I can invest with FNB whereby I will only get my interest monthly then I agreed to invest. Then I started to receive 1% of my money monthly as discussed. On the 25th April 2019 I went to the bank to put a notice to withdraw some of my initial investment the I was told that the money will be available within seven days but the days passed then on the 13 May 2019 I went to the bank to check what's wrong with my money the advisory said there is a problem with my investment account and that FNB has already initiated investigations the on the 14 May 2019 my children asked me to go with them to get more information only to find that I'm nolonger having funds in my investment even though I was receiving only my interest monthly and when we try to ask the financial advisor to explain she doesn't have any explanations she only say sorry I don't know what happened and that thing of FNB investigating the matter it was a lie. Then we asked her to call Branch Manager she said the manager is off duty then we asked for the second in charge she called Mr Thabo Mopai and also failed to explain what happened before Mr Mopai then they asked for 10 minutes to discuss a way forward then they called us and ask to give Mrs Mkhonza a day to consult with her family maybe she can take a loan to cover the loss because they don't want this to be known since she can loose her job and furnishing the image of the company then they promise to call us the following day 15 May 2019. On our way home we received a call Mr Mopai and Mrs Mkhonza that we must write a letter of complain addressed to Mr Mopai. I'm writing this to alert our fellow South Africans that they must check if their investmes are safe with this bank because it shows that their practice is to rob people of their earnings especially old people and people who cannot write or read and also get a closure to my problem with First National Bank South Africa. Now I wish I could have just kept my money and have control on it unlike what I'm experiencing now because they used used my money to generate profit for the bank but I'm receiving nothing out of that.
