********** debit order of the deceased estate
My late husband's account was not frozen after I notified fnb that he has passed on. It remained active and they told me I couldn't access the account while the debit orders going out every month and I don't know who authorized them because the account owner has passed own. When I ask why is the account active they told me because I don't have letter of authority so they can't freeze the account and what I want is not important because they paid the debit orders that's what important. What surprises me is that the credit card was closed without the letter of authority and his loan were settled and closed without that letter. The conduct and the manner which his account were handled it's really disrespectful and degrading not to mention unprofessional. Now that all the money is gone with un authorized debit. Where do I get it all back. I want all of it to be reversed back to the account we need that money at this time of need. Fnb has failed their wealth client.
