********** case not being heard out

Whilst withdrawing money from an ATM I had my card eaten by the machine after a withdrawal, for about three minutes I was trying to get my card back, when I phoned the *****line to cancel my account they told me two amounts have come off of my account about three minutes after my first withdrawal at a completely different petrol station, therefore my card must of been cloned? On Monday when I phoned in, I informed the bank that the one amount was pending still and that they could block that ********** transaction, but they said we need to investigate first and yesterday the amount came off. Surely FNB should of blocked that transaction of R 9200 and surely FNB should be able to see that the time frame of me withdrawing money and the next transactions to occur was too quick for them to have used my original card, therefore it was cloned and they were gone right away. I get an email this morning stipulating that the case was rejected and now it is in deadlock.

Thanks

Thank you for the reply, I just want the opportunity to explain what happened in detail, because it makes no sense for them to have used my original card as the time frame was too short, and to find out why FNB did not block the payment when I told them it was pending on Monday. Hopefully the complaint doesn't get deadlocked again. Best regards Byron
