********** ACTIVITY FROM FNB SMART LOANS ON MY IDENTITY

<p>I obtained my credit report, which I only check once an annum, and was stunned to note that FNB Smart Loans have been accessing my credit profile on the credit bureau NLREnquiriesME50 on various occassions without my consent and on the following dates: 16 May 2016, 10 March 2016, 1 February 2016 and 9 July 2016. The contact number is ***. I proceeded to contact FNB and after explaining the situation to the Call Centre Agent and the negative impact these queries were having on my credit scoring, I was told that it is not FNB that are accessing my profile but a third party named Lifestyle. Their contact numbers being *** and ***. I contacted both these numbers and were advised that neither of these companies had accessed my credit profile and that they did not have a profile for me either by a declined list and/or campaign contact. However the first agent I phoned at FNB and whose number is on my credit profile asked me to confirm my address and telephone number which I did and then she was able to find a profile for me. My question is as follows ... If I have not app**** to FNB for a Smart Loan and had I not been blacklisted due to unemployment, who would have been the beneficiary of perhaps a huge loan with FNB Smart Loans and would I be held liable for the repayment? I am at present advising the Credit Bureaus about this irregular activity but would request FNB to please investigate and revert. Identity ***** is a serious crime with serious repercussions. If possible I would like the name of the institution, if any, who is attempting this ********** activity.</p>
