********** actions from FNB staff

Last week I noticed a number of spam calls from FNB which I never answered. Last Friday I received an sms stating that a courier would contact me regarding a delivery.( BTW this never happened) This sms seemed to have come from FNB and HAS SINCE DISAPPEARED OFF MY PHONE. Last Saturday I received an email from FNB connect stating I had ordered 3 IPhone 11,s, 2 SIM cards etc. The order has my personal details on it which greatly concerns me but possibly the fact that FNB is my banker of choice, this info has been accessed internally. This Monday I contacted someone at FNB, told him I have never spoken to anyone from FNB connect nor asked for/ordered any devices and/or services. He asked that I send him a mail which I duly did. Today I received a call from a staff member who had received my mail and after repeating my story, he would look into it but he needed to transfer me to the ***** dept to open a case( would have thought my mail plus my convo with him was sufficient for them to open a case!!) I then spent the following 30 minutes being moved from dept to dept for someone to open a case with no joy. This dept only deals with x type of *****, that dept doesn’t know why I was transferred to them etc. Finally I gave up and sent another mail to the original person, stating that ***** is a rather serious accusation and I would expect their management to be jumping around to resolve, rather than me jumping through hoops with no result. I now have just checked my bank account to see that deductions are being made with regards to ********** transaction.
