*****ulant Debits

My Fiance noticed a R 99.00 debit order that went off on the end of October when opening the app. We called in today at around 15h30 and FNB said they do not know who debited the account but only that it shows Simmonds Street. How strange as we received a marketing call from an FNB consultant last month offering some kind of insurance for our vehicle for R 99.00 and we then declined. It is evident that the individual simply put the information through without our consent and went ahead to debit our account without our knowledge or consent. How ********** is this as we never gave our banking information whatsoever and funny enough the address given is where FNB Bank City is. Now we must be charged for a reversal and never mind the stress of knowing that our banking details can used in this regard and debited without our consent. This is breach of the POPI Act, Consumer Protection Act and the National Credit Act. This is so distressing and I will immediately take this up with the NCR and inquire about having all my financial agreements and dealings with FNB looked into and if we can move both our accounts to a different bank as this is simply to put it bluntly ***** and *********
