***** twice on my Debit Card and FNB feedback is not to use their ATMs

FNB needs to reassess the ***** department. I have had ***** occur twice on my debit card in the past three months and this is across two different cards

The first time it was used in the UK at a hotel. I got the SMS at the night and the card was blocked immediately by myself. I sent in the forms the next day and the investigation was concluded and the money was refunded to me. I did not get any feedback from the investigation as how to ***** occurred as I never used my debit card over the internet or did I inform that bank that I was travelling and yet the transactions was processed and no one called me.

I got my new card in June. Again two weeks ago I got an email stating that there was a transaction processed on my new debit card at another hotel in the UK for R 4500. I called the call centre immediately and after waiting for over an hour my card was finally cancelled. I thought that the transaction was noted as a ***** but this was not done even though I was on hold for more than 25 mins. I had to fill in the relevant forms and submit it. When I called the call centre a few days later then said that they could not find any note of the *****. I had to call my private banker and they found it . So I wonder if the people at the call centre know how to use the system.

I got a call a few days later from an investigator from the ***** department asking me if I registered for some website cause he can see that the transactions was done over the internet. I stated no and he said that he will call me back later. But surprise surprise I did not get a call.

Last week I see that the money was refunded to me without even a call or SMS from FNB stating so. When I called the call centre this morning to ask for feedback the guy stated that all he can say is that the money got refunded and I must not use the FNB ATM as this is where they could be *****ing my details. So tell me I must I get cash or maybe this is a ploy from FNB for me to use other banks ATMS so that they can charge me higher fees. So if I am not going to use FNB ATM I should rather close my account. I await your feedback.
