***** on credit card - FNB doesn't care

There is a transaction on my credit card for R1000 dated 24 November 2016 made by GoLife in Durbanville, Cape Town. I did not make any purchases from GoLife. I did not authorize the payment via an OTP nor via my cellphone banking app nor via Payfast or any other form. I also did not recieve an SMS from FNB Incontact when the transction took place. I logged a complaint with FNB Private Wealth (CAS- ********** -J2F5S2) on 20 January 2017 after reviewing my credit card statement.

I got a response from FNB on 31 January basically stating that FNB will not take responsibility for the ***** and that I will not be refunded. On 2 February I recieved an email from FNB stating that my request is concluded.

Even though I FNB cannot prove that I authorized the transaction, they cannot explain why I didn't recieve an SMS from Incontact when the transaction took place, they still refuse to refund me the R1000.

FNB is willing to lose a Private client (17 years with FNB) over R1000 transaction. Now that is how you help your clients...

FNB: resolve this issue, refund the R1000 that was *****ulantly deducted from my credit card or lose me as a client.

Your move...
