***** on Account - yet FNB takes their time. Account a complete mess..!!!
Greetings FNB,
I am a senior citizen, spend 3hrs at the Woodstock Cpt branch yesterday. Not even senior staff could manage to get my account resolved.
1. There is 1 x FNB Pmt Honfee - ***** Department reported - 17 March '22 and again on 24 March 2022 by Woodstock Cpt branch yet this amount is still debited to my account. This needs to be reversed TODAY before the closing of business.
2. Then there is another 1 x FNB Pmt Honfee - 17 February '22 on my account in the amount of R 45.00. This needs to be reversed TODY before the closing of business. For your information, there is NO WAY that I overspend or can overspend on my account. BEFORE I leave my home I check my bank for the amount AVAILABLE, not the balance, AVAILABLE. Therefore is no way that I can overspend. I hope I've made myself clear. My bank account is checked on this basis daily for the past 46 years, so don't try my with your hidden cost and the messed up system whereby merchants submit their transactions days and weeks after the transaction. In any event, these purchases are then lying against my DETAILED BALANCE. Therefore there is NO Way I can overspend. Let that sink in.
Now, please reverse these charges and get my account sorted out.
Lastly, the ***** Department advised yesterday that their investigation will take anything from 7-14 days. How do you expect me to operate without a bank account and card for the next 2 weeks..??? I am a senior citizen aged 66, do you really expect me to starve of hunger or what...????
Get my account sorted out with ALL these additional charges and have them reversed TODAY, I am not a ***gy bank for FNB.
I lieu of this mess created on my account by FNB, it would be wise for FNB as a gesture of goodwill to credit the service fees of R90.00 as levies on 23 March 2020 to my account. It is the least FNB can do in view of the mess created on my account which was none of my doing.
Unless FNB steps up I am seriously contemplating moving to Capitex seeing that two of my children are with them and they don't have a problem with their banking and their bank charges are a third less than the greedy FNB bank.
Regards,
Mrs. D C Engelbrecht
