***** ON ACCOUNT NOT HANDLED

I received an message from FNB saying that there are suspicious transactions taking place on my account and asked me to reply, then they will phone me if it was not me making these transactions. I immediately called them. They cancelled my card and sent me papers via e-mail just before I left the office. I printed the papers and filled it in at home and first thing the next morning I e-mail it back to the e-mail address specified on the papers. I almost immediately received an automated reply, saying that they received my papers and they will get back to me within 48 hours or 2 business days. It was a Friday morning. I waited almost 2 weeks and NO ONE got back to me. So I phoned them on Tuesday 07 October 2017. I was on the phone for 40 minutes, mostly holding on, just to find out that they closed my case because I did not send them any papers. I told them that I did, and I received an e-mail from them confirming that they received it. They said they will take it up and find out whats going on. Yesterday, I sent an e-mail again to the woman who help me, asking her to please give me some answers as to why nothing was done about my case and what the status is. I did not get an reply or any answers from them. Today is 15 days since the indecent happened and I still have NO new bank card yet (although they said on Thursday 26 October 2017 that they are cancelling my bank card and ordering another one immediately) and I am almost R4000 poorer. I had to borrow money for all my debit orders to be deducted. All while FNB is doing NOTHING about it. I use to tell everyone how awesome FNB is and they must all switch to FNB. But I think maybe I should switch to another bank, because I do not approve of this kind of treatment from my bank.
