***** fnb debit card

I have been with fnb for 9 years. I reported my debit card ****** in June 2019, I have blocked my card cancelled it and phoned fnb to confirm that NO amount of money could ever go out of that account again. To which the operator assured me is the case.

3 new cards later and 1000s of tollgate transactions going through my account! Only to be told that they cant do anything for me because tollgates are something the government runs and it can not be stopped. Now my first question, how on this earth can someone use a blocked card? Why must I phone the ***** department each time tollgate transactions go through my account. wasting my airtime and money and time.

I have been told that they will refund me, but by the time the first lodged ***** transaction is refunded there are three more reported. it is an endless loop, I now have unpaid debit orders, for which I had money in my account, but the tollgates took it all, and the transactions just keeps on going far faster than you can refund me. Why can you not close the account? and why can my account run into a minus????

I am so fed up! I had to open a new account switch all my debit orders, waste my time and money. I have been in and out of branches trying to sort this **** out. PAY MY DEBIT ORDERS WITH THE MONEY THAT IS BEING ****** FROM ME AND CLOSE THE ACCOUNT!!! Can it really be that hard
