***** + FNB appalling response to it!

So @ the end of July I had my all my cards ******, my phone (with the app on it) and my ID. I have had my online account with FNB for more years than I can remember. Was in town and I live 45km away - tried to stop my card at ATM (very rude tellers leaving as it was pack-up time) -they definitely did me no favors - screamed home in a panic to go onto my online banking - repeated the system told me my password was wrong - which was impossible. Then phoned the ***** line to cancel cards etc. I asked if any movements had happened as I had not used my FNB accounts in a while. Was told that the ******* were "going to town on my accounts" transferring between account - gave themselves R3K e-wallet, stole money out my credit card - the ***** lady said "can I reverse the e-wallet" I said yes please - it still got released to the *******. I then asked her how this was all happening as I could not get into my online banking - " oh my dear, they had hacked your banking app" - so the first estimate of theft was R18K. Bad but I could cope... blocked my online banking -Got a case number - gave it to FNB. Got a temp ID so that I could get the ball rolling with regards to replacing my cards as it was month end and I would need access to my account to do transfers. Was told they could give me a temp card, what a joke - all you can do is withdraw (was not told that at the time) can't get into you online banking either - phoned service division at FNB got told need permanent card to do transfers/online banking and the cards would take a while because they print your name on it. waited but the cards ended up taking 4 weeks to get to me. So I had to go back to the bank and had to buy a gold card (at additional cost to me) - was told as it was not my permanent card - could not do online banking but could transfer at the ATM. Didn't tell me they needed to link all my account to the gold card. So back to the bank I went. I never kept my password stored on my cellphone for the banking app -I am not sure how they hacked the phone and it seem they had everything from me to change the password on the app (that is why I could not get into my online banking) the ******* had changed my password and were going to town. Eventually got my permanent card only to find out I had to get authorization to reopen my online banking because the ***** unit did not unblock it when I phoned them...another trip to the branch. The ***** division emails me to say they want a copy of the affidavit that was made to the police - this being almost a month later. Who are we kidding! I had a good look at the ********** transaction from my account - the initial amount of R18K was now added to as R30K was taken out of my access bond. What the hell! to make matters worse - I get a curtesy call from FNB tell me I am such a valued customer and "this is in no way accepting any responsibility for the *****, but can we give you a goodwill payment of R6K" - are they smoking something - I told him to go back to the ***** division and have a good look because I am down an additional R30K on my access bond. Now that was end Aug 2020. From then until now - radio silence from FNB. Wow their service suck on such an astronomical level. The individual people at FNB are so nice but their Systems and the way they treat their customer and staff is appalling. I wouldn't recommend FNB if they were the last bank on earth... Seriously thinking of getting a lawyer involved here. Any suggestions? I am in Benoni area.
