Foreign Exchange

I returned last Thursday from a visit to the USA.
I brought some money back (360USD) and went into the bank to exchange it into Rands.
When I was in the bank they offered me some R12.80 (or so) per 1$.
On the FNB App on my iPhone, the rate was R13.30.
I said I wanted the rate as per the FNB App which they themselves had given me.
I was told that the rates changed all the time.
I asked them to re-apply for a rate and this was done, the FNB App rate in my had was still the R13.30.
This was refused me and I was told that I must take the one they offered me and blamed the 'system' for the fault.
I asked if they cared about the clients in any way ans was met my a blank stare.
All this exchange can be seen if the cameras in the branch were working, it took place on Saturday Morning the 29th August 2015.
I stated that by published such different figures I was out of pocket with R180 in addition to the R75 FNB charged me for the conversion, R255 in total.
This is not acceptable and whatever rate they use it should be uniform on all of their platforms.
