Forced to pay for FNB’s mistakes!!!

I had such an unfortunate experience with FNB recently. My account got hacked and so I had to cancel my card for safety reasons. As a result I decided to do a cardless withdrawal at the ATM so as to have cash for the week. The cardless withdrawal system was down(according to the FNB staff), and as a result the only way I could withdraw money was to get a new card in the branch, which they charged me over R100!!! The system was down, according to the tellers, yet they made me pay for a card I didn’t need (my new card was being sent in a few days). This is disappointing and was such a waste of money for a problem that was the bank’s fault.

FNB literally stole my money as a “solution” for their problem that they couldn’t solve.
