For the working class hero

Hey guys. I opened a share investing account a few years ago. I had to sell my shares last year but neglected to close the account as I thought I might be able to use it at a later date. On Wednesday morning 2.30am I nearly had a heart attack when I saw an amount of R563 went off my account (a day before payday) for the account that had been stagnant for a year. I phoned the share investing admin department to close the account the next day. A very friendly and helpful Faith assisted me. She mentioned that she cannot close the account as there are funds outstanding. I told her about the mild heartattack I had that morning and asked if there would be a possibility of having some of it refunded. Faith said she'd phone me the next morning at 10. No call from Faith yesterday, but this morning when I woke up I had another SMS. What an awesome surprise at 4.30am when I received a notification that the entire amount was refunded. Wow. A bank that realises that even if their clients have shares you don't necessarily have millions of bucks in the bank. You care about the average working class and for that I commend you. Faith, you were amazing. FNB so glad I switch all those years ago.
