For Shame FNB!!! So when will you be able to assist!!!

I am bitterly disappointed in the service I have received from FNB. I have repeatedly requested assistance from the Financial Assistance Department with regard to my personal loan. I am then provided with contracts offering assistance then when it comes to the end of the month the payments have gone off as per normal with no sign of the arrangement in sight. I have recently switched employers and had a time when I had not received my regular salary and was living off credit. I contacted FNB telephonically and was told to please submit an application via the App which I did. It is clear from my profile that I am struggling and moving credit around yet FNB cannot be bothered to assist. Over R5000 is charged each month on interest alone and I have never once been behind or late with my payments. How can your motto be, 'How can we help you' when one is asking for help and none is made available. On the App my income is clear so why is it that you have to hand in a lifetime of documentation when FNB is in possession of my bank statements and verification of my salary. What type of bank is this? I am literally begging my bank who I have been a long standing client of for help and they are refusing to assist. I honestly do not want a phone call from one of your agents telling me that I need to use an App to log a query. I would like actual email correspondence advising me of what help can be provided. Thus far no telephonic conversation has been fruitful. I canceled my life policy, funeral policies and hospital plan, obviously forfitting all payments made which I was understanding of and FNB was more than happy to receive. I then disinvested my RA and that too has been a nightmare to withdraw because again this needs to be done by the App. Despite disinvesting the funds a while ago payments still went off and now that too has been delayed due to no fault of mine as I have email correspondence showing how far back this conversation has gone. This is the extremes a struggling client has had to go through with FNB with the App happily confirming that they are 'unable to assist' with an arrangement at this time. Shame on you FNB!!!

I received an email from your agent Laurelene Vermeulen stating that I do not have an agreement with regards to my personal loan when in fact I am in possession of a revised agreement sent by Mapule Motloung on the 31st October 2024. Please note that this is not the only agreement in my possession it is the latest. Within the email it is advised that my personal loan was not to be amended however according to the agreement which I have signed and sent off to Mapule(I have confirmation of the documents being sent off) it says that my loan agreement will be reduced to R5499. 13 for a period of 36 months. In addition my Overdraft facility payment will be reduced by R791.22 from the 24/11/2024.

Sadly Laurelene was more concerned that she had tried to call and I did not pick up when I specifically stated that I prefer email correspondence because of all the contradictions happening with FNB. Then I was politely advised to call the collections department. PS My loan is NOT in arrears. Should it not be a desire of your representatives to prevent clients from falling into arrears.

I understand that to the person reading this I am an angry person needing to chill out but imagine me dealing with this for months. People phoning me and getting nothing sorted. It's enough to drive anyone mad. This is my life we are talking about not the price of eggs.

I expect that this agreement be honored by FNB and will do my level best to ensure that if it is not that I post this everywhere because this was the last straw today.

I will not be reachable via telephone and expect a decent level of correspondence from FNB. You work for a reputable award winning company it's service level should reflect these titles.
