FNB....so font know the correct way forward

And so here goes my story about FNB bank. I used to bank with them I had a private check account. Last year August 2018, I was retrenched. I did advised this to the private banker, and I asked for him to downgrade my account . I was told by him to let's just hold on with the account and see what happens. I did advise that I am not sure as when I will get employment. As I had a private banker, it was in his own thinking that he should of put a hold on the acc9 or freeze the account, as I was unsure as to when I will be employed again. He might of spoken to me last in October 2018. Nobody contacted me again and private banking fees were added on to the account. I also sent through my retrenched letter. In February this year 2019 I received an sms from the bank advising that I have credits recieved to my dormant account. I should come to bank with proof of address. I did go to the bank, as I also started working again on the 1st of February 2019. Upon speaking to the consultant at FNB, Carlswald branch, I was told the account is closed and that I need to pay an amount of about R3 800 to reopen. I advised that I do not have that money now, however if they can open it I can give my payroll department the details to pay my salary into it and whatever was owing could be taken off. The Consultant advised that I must still give my payroll department the details, the salary will come in and then bounce back, and I am must then come back to the bank to sort out. I didnt do that my God, do I have the time for all that inconvenience. My account has now gone in R5k + arrears, and from being an account that is closed does not make sense. I'm still get back on my feet, from being retrenched, and now this yo pay....bank fees. My husband had the same account, and was also retrenched last year October, in about 3 months his account was closed, surprisingly, he never asked for it to be closed, out of the blue it was closed.

What was the private banker doing as again in October I told him that I am still not employed??

On another note, my cell number was with FNB, I ported out of FNB to vodacom on the 17th of June 2019. Si ce the port, FNB has blocked my phone from using any of the networks. My new vodacom sim card works, and works on any other phone but not mine. I went to Samsung and after they checked my phone this is what they advised. The asked me to call fnb and ask them to unblock my phone from the virtual network and tries hod I'm struggling with fnb since the 17th of June 2019. Some of them in the departments know what I am talking about and some dont know, I give up I failed with them. I now have to pay to get my phone unblocked .
