FNBSA Not Fulfilling on Customer Promise

I app**** for a homeloan through my bond originator on Friday 26th February, 2016. My bond originator called me this morning 07/03/2016 to inform me that FNBSA had turned down my application based on my wife being a foreign national. The only time they would look into my application is if we paid a 50% deposit. This truly saddened me! I am a permanent resident, so is my daughter. My wife is also going to become a permanent resident with the passage of time. What baffled me even more is the fact that FNBSA portrays itself as a progressive bank that caters for all yet it discredited my case because my wife is a foreigner. Another example, if on average, a good home / apartment costs between R650K to R1mil, 50% deposit = R325K - 500K. I wonder who can afford to raise such an amount in these trying economic times. Why can't FNBSA deliver on its customer promise and evaluate the case on its merit and not discredit it by treating people like second or third class citizens. How many foreigners does FNBSA have on its books as we speak? Yet, they don't want them or their families to own homes? I don't think FNBSA is delivering on its customer promise. Things can be done better...
