FNB's poor service

I'm very disappointed with the service offering from FNB. Let it continue this way and it will lose a high number of customers, if it hasn't already. I have 2 complaints. 1. I opened my business account in 2015, and it has lasted till recently when the bank decided, with no communication whatsoever to close my account. Even though I hadn't paid in full some monthly payments, I still would transfer substantial payments (for activity purposes) so that the account doesn't seem dormant. But they still shut it down. No letter of notice, nothing.

2. Again another form of no communication and wrong information in this case, leading to my policy lapsing. Since I'm unemployed I called in to FNB Life department last month to find out what options did I have concerning my unemployment status and payment plans in regards to my policy. As I was worried about the 3 month period before my policy would lapse. But the consultant assured me it only lapses after "4 months" and a double premium would normally be collected until premiums are fully settled. And in any case the system would continue to track the account for any funds. So it tried now on Monday 18th November 2019 (checked my bank statement), and it found no funds as money would only be in the account on the 25th, that's the pay date captured for each month on their system, and at latest the last day of the month.

So now the policy has been declared as lapsed after a bounced debit order of an amount and date that was not agreed upon. And again unfortunately, it's the clients problem, (even though I called in to find out how to resolve the issue, only to be given wrong information). And again the client loses.

Going forward I would like to close all my other accounts with the bank and cancel any existing active policies together with the bank accounts. And cut my losses, before I suffer any more than I already have. Because honestly it's really not for the people at all. This here is indeed disappointing.
