FNB's Estate Services Are Costly, Unresponsive, and Ineffective

I strongly advise against handling your will through FNB. Since March 10th, we’ve faced constant roadblocks trying to finalize my father’s estate, and as of today, there’s been zero progress. The team has shown no sense of urgency or care, even prioritizing an affidavit with verbal claims over his final, documented wishes.

On top of that, my father’s bank accounts were not properly frozen, and a large sum of money has mysteriously disappeared—funds meant to cover claims and outstanding debts. Despite repeated inquiries, we haven’t received a single clear answer about what happened or why.

FNB has charged R23,561.00 for this so-called “service,” leaving us in a frustrating deadlock with no resolution in sight.
