FNB’s ***** detection is a JOKE!!!

FNB’s ***** detection is a JOKE!!! My phone was ****** 30/08/24, ***** detection kicked in and I am still being held liable…..R124 000 and have now appointed attornyes to take legal action. My banking app has messages that state there is suspicious transactions on my credit card.

The ewallets and ebucks that was used, FNB paid back, yet my credit card that was emptied out they refuse to reverse, it all happed on the same day by the same perpetrators that got access to my banking app. How I dont know, I logged onto my banking app with facial recognition only. Etientte head of ***** confirmed the last time I logged onto my banking with my password was March 2024, and he assumes I someone got the password combination over my should…..it was an iPhone they stole, again I used facial recognition. The location on the phone was off after ******, the sim had a password if which none were the same.

2 days later on 02/09/24 @ 19h30 FNB sent me an sms to warn me about the *****, NO calls from FNB, they allowed all the transactions to go through!!!!

There is just no care from FNB, they dont seem to think they in the wrong, as soon as there was suspicious transactions or a abnormal spending pattern, FNB should have tried calling me and if they could not get hold me block my profile until such time that I could confirm.

I blocked my cards, which should have been an alert, there was just no effect done to ensure that I was not making the payments.

Virtual cards were created on my banking app and a person loan taken out.

I have posted a video in social media and tagged FNB, they just have a no care attitude.

Offered me a good will payment (which I declined) and had the nerve to tell me to keep quiet!!!!

Make sure your money is safe with your bank - try not to have your banking app on your cell phone.
