FNB...I AM HERE AGAIN...SAME THING.
To whom it may concern.
I would like to first and foremost out-rightly state that this is mere question which is accompanied by a complaint.
Are we as customers compelled to use the self-service ATM option and be denied access to in-branch service solely on the basis of the amount we depositing?
This is the second time i am raising this matter and i once had the same experience in your Carlton Centre branch and i was informed such is inconsistent with your values and practices.
On the 30th of november 2018 i went to fnb south dale branch to make a deposit of R1950 (around 9:40am) , was in a rush and went inside the branch, stood there for like 15-20 minutes (estimation) and my turn came to be assisted. When i got to the till i was asked if my money had coins to which i said no and i was then "instructed" to rather use the ATM service to make a deposit because the money i was deposing was below the set parameters for in-branch service (exception could only be done for deposits that had coins). I then had to go outside and stand in a queue. The person who assisted me is Rankane and i am hereby seeking clarity as to why you imposing (fnb) impose your processes on us instead of allowing us to utilize services based on what is convenient for us. my ATM slip reflects time 10.03.. i dont want to elaborate more on this as i am of the view that this is sufficient to trigger a reply from you.
Regards Kagisho
