FNB/FRB - False non-payment information sent to Experian SA
My Discovery Credit card was handed over to the FNB/FRB debt review department many years back. My current outstanding balance is less than R2,000. I pay this account faithfully every month and have done so for many months. FNB/FRB have incorrectly, almost libellously provided Experian SA with information that my account is in arrears by 9 months! Absolute *******. I have emailed FNB/FRB and Experian SA complete with the proof of payments for the past 11 months running, to correct this asap - surprise, surprise, all you get greeted with is yet another automated response email from both of these companies.
I admit, this doesn't surprise me from FNB/FRB as it take countless emails just to get a statement of account and by the time you get the statement its already dated :(
Surely, this kind of adverse false information is against the consumer credit/protection act? This inaccurate information has adversely affected my credit score/rating with my bank and I take serious umbrage at this situation. Grossly unfair and untrue. Not the way to treat a loyal, well paying customer.
FIX THIS MESS FNB/FRB. You have not done right by me.
What kind of an answer is, and I quote, " We acknowledge the receipt of your email. Kindly be advised that when account is included under review we only update the ITC reports once the account is settled as per debt review process. " signed Jacob Machaba
W H A T a load of *******!
That wasn't even the question! If the account is paid every single month how can it be in arrears and ITC Listed as you have incorrectly listed under Experian SA ... tell me Mr. Jacob Machaba at FNB Debt Review department.
