FNB/eBucks ****

FNB claimed to respond but they only respond with untruths and cover ups... even their hellopeter responses seem to be just generic templates that are not acted upon. It's one response and then nothing. This seem to indicate they just respond to provide a facade to the public that they address public issues when in fact they don't.

Had a very disturbing and shocking call from Natasha Naidoo - a supposedly eBucks customer care agent. I was shocked and flabbergasted at the lack of understanding and common sense displayed by Natasha, eBucks and FNB. It seems that FNB cannot do simple maths and they use this ignorance to prejudice their clients.

FNB unfairly penalised by me by not allocating my spending correctly and was obvious that FNB was totally ******** about how vehicle rental systems operates or they just used it to benefit themselves and prejudice and unfairly penalise their clients so that they would not award the client the justly earned rewards. It's more than evident that FNB only have their interests and profits at heart and dont' care about the interest of their clients ... but falsely advertise they are Customer oriented. I rented a vehicle and the rental company charged me a rental deposit of R5000. When I returned the vehicle, they refunded me R4500 after deducting my vehicle usage. FNB and eBucks claim that accoding to them it is marked on their system as the full R5000 was refunded and thus cannot credit me the R500 I has spent. This is their profound logic. So if you spend R100K and get refunded R1 then according to FNB/eBucks rules you have been refunded R100K. The best part is the Natasha then started to justify her (lack of) logic by quoting General Ledger entries and saying that that is how it's recorded in the General Ledger. It's obvious that she has no accouting knowledge but likes to throw terms to try to confuse the client. What she fails to understand is that the General Ledger is used to record transactions and in it's simplest form is a T-Account which will include Cash, Accounts Receivable, Accounts payable, etc. Her logic stated that because you posted R5000 you MUST reverse with a single entry of R5000K to cancel the entry. She does nto realise that you can balance out the Debit of R5000 with multiple transactions that total up to R5000 (in this case two entries). Maybe she thinks all Clients are naive and gullible so she throws accounting terms to confuse the Client and make it seem like she knows what she's talking about.

Natasha was solely focused on forcing her views and opinions onto me by always interjecting when I was talking and explaining myself even when I pointed out the flaw in her logic. She said that that was how FNB calculates it and they not going to change it.

Maybe we should follow/adopt FNBs (lack of) logic ... we buy gift card for R10K then use 9K and then return it and show them the original 10K voucher and expect them to refund you back 10K ... that is how FNB performs calculations ... may it shoud be investigated where else FNB is using this logic to rob their clients of their due rewards and interest since I'm sure this (lack of) logic is not only used here.

After that un-intelligible conversation with Natash where she duly displayed her ignorace, I asked her to get her manager to call me ... she promised to do so ... we we wait.

Guess what, I waited until the following week and the call never came. I called Natasha and she never answered the call (possibly ignoring the call when she saw my number) - this was similar to Mohudi Tema giving me a number that was never answered albeit he confirmed it was his direct line. It was obvious that either Natasha never gave the message or FNB are defintely NOT INTERESTED in their Clients to even return the calls.

Finally got in touch with Mohudi and he kept on making excuses and trying to further justify his lies and untruths. He even said that that all the managers are not around when I want to talk to them. He promised me that that one of the managers will call ... but guess what ... no-one called.

FNB has proved again they DO NOT live the UBUNTU values they profess to promote. They do, however, live by making false promises and unfairly penalising their clients. Definitely shows they DO NOT RESPECT their customers. The people I've spoken to have not no sense of intergrity or having any moral compass and just make empty promises.
