FNB- you are not helping me
Where shall I start...
1. My bankcard was ****** and used multiple times with the tap function. They spent R2000. FNB said they would get back to me in 7-14 days with a report from the ***** department. That was over a month ago.
2. I sat at the FNB branch using my own airtime (as there is only one phone available and it's always being used) to phone the call centre to get a pin attached to my tap function. It was going to be activated in 24 hours. That was over 3 weeks ago and my card still taps freely. So the next time my card gets ****** it can be freely used again. Thanks FNB. How about you allow your clients to decide for themselves if they want the tap function on or off. It invites crime and you do nothing about it.
3. I got a new phone and I've been trying to get my banking app on it. The phone says it need a QR code from my laptop and my laptop says it needs to be approved by my banking app. So that is just a big mess up and I'm still not able to use my business banking from my phone. I phoned the call centre twice in a row, both times I was hung up on after I explained the issue I needed help with.
4. I am a foreign national so I don't have an ID number which makes it impossible to call the helpdesk as it doesn't allow you past the "enter your ID" part. I have to use my husband's ID and then he has to authorise when I am a legal joint account holder based on my passport number. Do I not actually even count to FNB without a SA ID?
I am ready to switch all my accounts to another bank at this point. FNB is unhelpful, unreachable and clearly does not care about what the client actually needs.
