-FNB Y NEXT - A TOTAL **** FOR YEAR OLDS

My daughter has a FNB Y account , she turned 18 in June 2024 which she was then transferred to a FNB Y NEXT account for young professionals aged 18-24. South African law deems you and adult from the aged of 18, yet FNB feels they can override the laws of the country by dictating where she can use the account. The card is unable to swipe at any place selling alcohol or at a casino. We tried swiping water at food (Mojo) market once, but couldnt as we were swiping at the bar. She is a young adult, attending college, yet her bank account doesnt allow here to swipe for adult things. I understand the logic behind it, but you cannot override the law of the country. I will not be moving her over to an Easy account as the student account has no banking fees and she qualifies for the criteria and no where does it mention these things about not being able to swipe at bars. Imagine being and not swiping at a bar. You just lost a customer.
