FNB: Worst service imaginable

I'm beyond frustrated with FNB to say the least. The quality of your service is disgraceful. I've been struggling more than a MONTH to get a simple process completed. My business money market account is inactive. 1) I've logged multiple online queries/complaints whilst in Australia over December, unable to contact the call center. I supp**** my email address they should respond to, over and over again. No response. No one obviously read or cared to respond to the email I supp****. Which was in the email text field on the query form on the site, as well as in the body of the message in my later queries/complaints. Even putting it in capital letters, pleading that they get back to me. I even logged out and used the general query form on the site to find out what's going on. No response. When I got back, I went to the Pretoria Brooklyn branch and spoke with Mosa Tlhabane. She confirmed that they were replying to my webmail account which I specifically asked them not to do as it's inactive. What is the point of having an email field to which a response must be made if it's not used? Or the messages weren't read properly or ignored on purpose where I specifically asked to use the address I've supp**** in the body of the message?

Mosa then informed me they require documents that should be signed. I asked her to send me an electronic version which she did on the 2nd of January 2019. After completing and sending it back, I've heard nothing back yet again. My account is still inactive. My messages to her has been ignored ever since and it's been a week. I demand to know as a long time customer, as to why the process has not been finalized? And why are my mails being ignored and I know she must have received it, as the mail in which I asked for the electronic version was to her same mailbox?

I've asked Mosa to forward me the Brooklyn branches' manager's email. I'm at my wits end. How can FNB be so uncaring about their customers!?

I'ts been 8 business days now and apparently the turnaround time for response is 48 hours. We are at 192 hours now and no resolution, not even a reason as to what is going on? I would expect that they could at least inform me of where the process is? I'ts been almost 2 months later now since I've started correspondence with FNB and I'm totally in the dark as to what is going on. Banks are bureaucratic, old fashioned, money traps. I hope cryptocurrencies can get to a point where we don't need you anymore.

Are there any update on this matter!? You are holding my money hostage and I'm going to start legal action if you do not respond to this message today and inform me what the heck is going on! I'm done being patient. It's been 4 days yet again after you've ignored my previous email. I'ts been 2 months since starting the process. I can only assume this is deliberate stalling or gross negligence on the bank's part.

OK so I've logged a complaint with the banking ombudsman, not that anybody at FNB really gives a s#*t. The responses I receive from FNB regarding the matter are just generic "Sorry for the inconvenience, blah blah, please go f&*$ yourself. We don't care, we don't know what's going on, so we'll just pass the issue on to someone else." If anyone out there reads these comments on hellopeter to determine which bank they should choose, please do yourself a favor and go to Capitec. I'm going to close all my accounts with FNB as soon as I have my money out of them sometime this year. The ombudsman requires that you give FNB 20 DAYS to go through it's medieval processes. I'm already at over 2 months, but unfortunately I've ONLY had this special reference number of mine for 15 days... Wow! I guess I should be happy. Dealing with the municipality is a walk in the park compared to this behemoth of incompetency.
