FNB WORST SERVICE EVER

I am so tired of trying to get through to FNB, and doubly tired of being charged R110 every time a cancelled debit order tries to take an un authorized payment! If you book an appointment at a branch, you are rudely told to wait in the queue... What's the point of booking then? I have Orthostatic syncope, which means I faint if I stand for too long, which is why I book appointments. Trying to receive money from overseas is a miserable exercise because the staff either don't take your call, or they don't have a check list of all the stupid things you have to do to link accounts, or they don't respond to the call back request form. I wonder what the staff are actually paid to do? The banks have become so arrogant because they think they have all the power. Until we all empty our accounts and show them that without the customer, they are nothing! I'm not rude to anyone, so why do they think they have the right to be rude? Because they wear a bank uniform? There is a tall young girl at the branch at the Springs Mall who needs a lesson in customer care. I wish I had noted her name, I would advertise it here. Then there is the SECURE CHAT.... oh my goodness!! It's a total waste of time! They don't know anything except how to work the app, but any problems are passed on, and on, and on, and on. I have wasted nearly R600 on airtime, data and petrol this past month alone because of the incompetence of the people on the other end of the line. Plus the unnecessary fees because companies ignore instructions to cancel debit orders by using different references. The bank offers no protection against this, and unfairly charge their customers instead! Banking used to be a rather pleasant experience in the dark ages... Now, you're just a nuisance to be pushed out as quickly as possible. IT'S OUR MONEY THEY ARE HOLDING!!! I think it's time they were more strictly regulated and the laws to protect the customer need to be revised. They've always been wolves in sheep's clothing, but never as obvious as now. Let's boycott them and see how far they get without our deposits.....
